Adoption Incentive – The next 2 dogs adopted will receive a $25 gift card at PetSmart

Thanks to Kat Nagler of Lafayette, Indiana!  Kat is a remarkable 12 year old girl and sister to little Miss Pixie (rescue from Bodhi Shelter in Phuket, Thailand).  Pixie just so happens to be ISDF’s poster dog and adorns our banners and brochures.

Kat and her family adopted Pixie last month and Kat is so grateful to have had Pixie join her family that she felt moved to help other street dogs in need.  So much so that she decided to donate  money that her grandma gave her intended for her gymnastics camp.  Now all of you can imagine what a sacrifice this is for a young girl.  ISDF was moved beyond words when we received this donation.  We thought about applying it to vet fees or dog transport cost but then thought it would be better used to “Pay it forward” in the spirit in which it was donated and inspire others.

Therefore, the next two adopters will receive this very heart-felt gift from a very special girl.   One gift card was already given to Asha’s adopters. ISDF does require that it be spend for items such as toys and treats that will help make the transition to the new home less stressful and a joyful time.
