GREAT NEWS….. Jhumki was adopted by Lori Mendel and family. Jhumki is now named Aladdin. She joins two children who adore her. There is never a dull moment in Aladdin’s life – her name is very appropriate as she is living a charmed life. We couldn’t be happier for this precious girl.
Thank you to all who have helped Jhumki along the way and make this fairy tale ending come true for her, especially, Meredith Allen and her lovely foster family in New Delhi, India.

Jhumki had the bad fortune of being born on the streets of New, Dehli, India. Luckily she was rescued and is coming to Chicago to find her forever home! The name Jhumki is what people in India call a lovely pair of earings. And this little girl is just that …Lovely. In every way. Sweet, fun loving, gets along with all dogs, children and everyone she meets. She will make a wonderful companion for any family.
She is currently in foster care in Wadsworth, IL and doing wonderful. She is patiently awaiting her family to find her.
