GREAT NEWS!!
Jimmy has found his forever home at last in Madison, WI with Kristen Elliott and Jaime Prickett the parents of another former rescue dog Sammie who sadly passed of kidney failure on December 18, 2015. But fate worked its magic for Kristen and Jaime sending Jimmy their way at just the right time!

Jimmy was 1 of 4 lovely furry pups born on the rough streets of New Delhi, India. After their mother disappeared (most likely hit by a car) the pups had no one to care for them and were on the brink of death when Sonia Heller found them and took them under her loving care. Jimmy needed to spend 2 weeks in intensive care to recover but is now a healthy and happy 12 month old boy.

After Sammie passed away last month Jaime and Kristen reached out to ISDF devastated by the loss of Sammie they wanted to foster other dogs of a similar background to honor Sammie’s life. Jimmy was in need of a foster home and joined them a week ago today. It only took a few days for Jimmy to win their hearts and they asked if they could adopt. They said they knew they couldn’t part with Jimmy when their son, Teagan woke up and ran out to play with Jimmy. The two were having so much fun and only paused when Jimmy dropped down to kiss him. The kiss sealed the deal.

A big ole thank you to Jimmy’s former foster mom & rescuer Sonia Heller! And a big thank you to Jimmy’s new parents Kristen Elliott & Jaime Prickett!
