I am one of four incredible siblings who were rescued from the streets of Tunisia, and I will sweeten your life forever!

Back in January 2017, we were discovered in a ditch.  We were starving and in ill-health.  Our rescuers looked for our mother, but they could not find her.  Most likely, she had been hit by a car, poisoned, or shot by a police officer.  It is horrible that these are common occurrences in our country.  Then, the neighborhood people and the police started to talk about getting rid of us.  A very kind lady heard about our situation.  She reasoned with the police and received 48 hours to find a solution.

Unfortunately, there are few options for street pups like us.  The compassionate woman took me and my siblings to an overcrowded shelter.  Pups often die in shelters since they cannot survive illness.  Miraculously, we made it!  Our health improved, and we grew; in fact, we thrived!  Now, we are healthy, happy, gentle, and intelligent pups.  We love to play together, and we are closely bonded.  We are also well-socialized and, as you can see, extremely beautiful!

We are thankful to Tina Smothers, who volunteered to travel to Tunisia to bring us to Chicago!  She adopted an adorable rescued DMT survivor from Thailand named Mandy.  Thank you, Tina and ISDF!

Here are some individual details about about me: I am your typical happy go lucky young dog who loves to play!  I am currently fostered at Wood Dale Pet Resort with my sister Azza (adopted by owner) lives.  It is a marvelous place in Genoa City, WI where I am get puppy play time every day.  I never knew life could be this good.  I am very good with people and love to cuddle.  I also like to play with my K-9 friends.  One could say my life has been transformed from a life of fear focused on survival to one of love, fun times and security.  However, I long for a family of my own.  Could you be the family I am looking for?

His foster mom – the owner of the amazing Wood Dale Pet Resort – wants him to have his own family and a lifetime of happiness – she has informed ISDF that whoever adopts Heath will have free doggy day care and boarding for life at Wood Dale Pet Resort.  Heath’s sister Azza lives there and she would love to have them be able to have play dates in the future.
